Copper Ceiling Painting in St. Louis, MO
At Kennedy Painting, we recently had the pleasure of working on a unique project for Classic Aire Care in Saint Louis, Missouri. The project involved painting a copper ceiling that had experienced paint failure, and the job required a quick turnaround. We are proud to say that our team completed the project despite the challenges by leveraging our proven processes and delivering the high-quality craftsmanship we're committed to.
One of the most significant challenges of this project was ensuring that the new paint job would last a long time. Therefore, our team spent a considerable amount of time on prep work and site protection to achieve this goal. We used Sherwin William's Pro Mar Ceiling Paint and applied two coats of this high-quality product to ensure that the ceiling received the best possible finish. We also applied one coat of Zinsser Cover Stain Oil Based Primer before applying the finish paint to further enhance the durability of the new paint job.
Our team also took care to protect areas that were not being refinished. We used tape, masking paper, plastic, and drop cloths to ensure that these areas were not affected by the painting process. We also scraped, sanded, and wire brushed the ceiling as needed to ensure that the new paint adhered correctly.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the team at Classic Aire Care. Everyone at the company was a pleasure to work with, and Tony, in particular, was always very nice and easy to work with. We are proud to have been part of this project and are thrilled with the results.
As with all our projects, we took great care to ensure that we delivered a high-quality finish while minimizing any disruption to our client's daily routines. To this end, we ensured that our team had rooms free of other trades while completing the ceiling work. We also ensured that the ceilings were completed before the customer completed the walls due to some overspray from the ceiling paint.
