Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church Interior Transformation

To get this project started, we removed the outdated wallpaper from various areas throughout the building. Wallpaper removal can be tricky and quite the head-scratcher at times because the condition of the wall underneath the wallpaper can be a mystery. Luckily with this particular project, the wallpaper peeled off smoothly, which resulted in fewer wall repairs and surface preparation. We took many precautions with site protection to prevent any paint drips on the floors using a combination of painter’s tape, masking paper, plastic, and drop cloths. Additionally, the existing murals received spot-priming before the application of finish paint for a polished finish.

Before applying the final colors, our painters patched holes, smoothed out damaged areas, and primed various surfaces throughout the interior of Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church. The project manager carefully curated a palette of white and blue colors to create a clean and modern look. The entryway and coat hall were painted using the colors Sherwin Williams Extra White 7006 and 7602 Indigo Batik for a cohesive upgrade. The final interior paint application included two coats of Sherwin William’s Duration Home on walls and a finish coat of Sherwin Williams Pro Industrial Enamel on trim, resulting in uniformly refreshed church corridors.
