Warranty & Terms of Service
Kennedy Painting is proud to stand behind the quality of our work. Our warranty covers both labor and materials for 2 years from the completion of your project. Should any paint failure occur within this time frame, we will provide the necessary labor and materials to correct the issue at no additional cost. This warranty supersedes any other warranties, whether expressed or implied, and our sole responsibility is limited to addressing the condition as outlined above.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover—and Kennedy Painting will not be held liable for—any consequential or incidental damages resulting from accidents, abuse, normal wear and tear, temperature fluctuations, settlement, or moisture exposure. This includes issues such as nail pops or cracks caused by the natural expansion and contraction of surfaces. While we will properly prepare any cracks at the time of the job, they will not be covered under this warranty.
In addition, the following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Painted or stained horizontal walking surfaces (decks, floors, steps, etc.)
- Dirt and mildew buildup
- Paint failure due to rotted wood, structural defects, moisture intrusion, failure of prior coatings, or insect damage
Please note that Kennedy Painting cannot be held responsible for color differences when performing warranty work.
Transferability:
This warranty is fully transferable, ensuring continued peace of mind even if ownership of the property changes.
Steps for Warranty Issues:
If you experience any issues with a project we completed and it is within 2 years of completion, here’s how to proceed:
- Contact Us: Reach out to our scheduling department at scheduling@stlouishousepainting.com or 314-714-6139 to get the process started.
- Inspection: A Kennedy Painting representative will schedule an inspection of the affected area to assess the issue.
- Resolution: If the issue falls under warranty, we will arrange for the necessary labor and materials to correct the condition at no cost to you.
